Holiday season is coming everyone are sending gifts to their love ones. Sharing of what you have can bring happiness to the person who will receive it. Like today many people will receive a special gift coming from the Internal Revenue Service because they will send out your tax advantages as well as your deductions as a holiday present. Since, they are concern regarding your income taxes you can now start thanking them by preparing your income tax return. Filing your income tax return can show your gratitude and thankfulness. Here is my recommended software for filing 2011 tax returns

Below are the list of tax advantages and deductions you might get:

•    Charitable Cash Gifts – By giving cash gift to a charitable constitution can help you claim tax deductions. Charitable constitution will accept any donations for the benefits of other and gifts that will help the activity you choose. In case you want to exert an extra effort in helping the charity you may ask the IRS if you can designate how your gifts can be used.
•    Property Gifts – If you want to give specific amount of cash gift but your checkbook balance is too low. The IRS can advise you to donate non cash contribution for that charity for example; personal household, properties, any investments and real estate. You can deduct the actual amount of property you donate to your income tax return. With this approach you can prevent capital gains that may due if you sell the property.
•    Insurance Gifts – Insurance policies are also deductible. You can claim tax deduction if you donate the value of your insurance policies that is not longer available in your insurance coverage. If you choose the charity to be the owner of your life insurance policy, you may deduct the cost of what you pay for that insurance coverage.
•    Larger Contributions – This is also known as planned gifts, giving larger contributions can qualify you to receive tax advantages that is special. If you choose these arrangements it can benefit your present savings from your future gifts, or maybe the charity can give you a lifetime income from donations. The charities also have a system where they can accept planned gifts, and especially the most important benefit of this gift it will allow you to review the effects of your large contributions while you are living in contrary to your gifting will.
•    Gifts under Testaments – You can donate to any charity using your will testament. Charities can assist you in case you don’t have a will.
